As time goes by, people below the poverty line are increasing. More Filipinos are getting unemployed because of the introduction of machinery and the process of industrialization.Even the innocent children get involved and suffer at a very young age.
Early marriage, low quality of education, low salary while prices are inflating, capitalism are just some of the causes of poverty. Yet I don't understand why still so much get married at a very young age.
They don't realize that their children will suffer. Love alone cannot feed the growling stomachs of the young. They should be responsible for their actions and yet they blame it all on the government for their poverty but don't understand that it was their fault in the first place.
The government but also the people around should help this people. After all, nobody started out very rich. Its the least that can do to reduce poverty. Also, the government should inquire more jobs that require manpower not machinery. Machinery may reduce time and energy but it increases unemployment rate thus increasing population way below the poverty line.
But these unfortunate should not lose hope, after all we're a 3rd world country that is developing and these poor people should develop as well but they should have the responsibility and the determination to break through the poverty line. Lets just hope that the government if not help them, give them support in their times of need.
We eat regularly, go for medical check-ups, study and live in nice home, but these people don't. Its time for us to help them and at the same time teach to be independent on their own. Sounds hard? Well it is, but we have this saying, "Kapag gusto maraming paraan, kapag ayaw maraming dahilan". We can be a lot of help if we think all the possible solutions, and not to down the morale of these people....
